Delight is a reminder that life is still full of wonder—and you’re allowed to enjoy it. Sometimes we take life so seriously, pushing forward, managing stress, trying to get it all done. But what if you paused, just for a moment, to delight in what’s good?
Delight is a form of mindfulness. It says, “I see this. I feel this. And I’m going to enjoy it.” For me right now it’s a nice breeze during a sweltering day, a meal cooked by my husband, and a shared laugh with a friend, these moments ground me.
This week, practice finding joy not in achieving something—but in simply being present. The goal isn’t more productivity. It’s more presence.
Reflection: When was the last time you truly delighted in something small? How can you make space for that feeling again?
Challenge: Choose one small moment each day to fully engage in and enjoy. Let yourself smile. Let yourself slow down. Let it be enough.
Delight softens the edges of our lives. You’re allowed to enjoy your life—even the quiet, ordinary parts.
